- What to write

What to write...so I have been thinking about what to write and where to start to get my mental toes back in the water before plunging in. When I was younger my friends and I used to play dungeons and dragons. We played a lot and than when parties that parents shouldn't know about started we "played" more. It was very useful to come home at 4 in the morning and my mom and dad to think nothing was out of the ordinary. I have a lot of material from those days of group storytelling (which is at the core what rpg's are) stashed in random notebooks. From that is where I am going to start. My players used to say that they played in Johns world to underscore my insanity and proliferation of undead and giants. From this I came up with the name, Nohj. Not original but simple which suits me fine. So welcome to the atlas of Nohj in its' randomness and geekdom.
For those intersested or experienced in rpg's you may notice the that Dungeons and Dragons advanced and 2cnd edition aren't the only sources. I was a vulture like Dr.Frankenstein of games, I stole, borrowed, cobbled and modified from every system that I could get my grubby little paws on. Why reinvent the wheel when others had done such a god job. When that didn't work I made shit up. Most notably worlds. I did research, I put together it together and made my players groan, laugh and ask why. Rolemaster from ice was a system I borrowed from extensively until I transferred the players into that system. Warhammers chaos book, white wolfs series of books and even star frontiers contributed until the patch work mess that made sense to me resembled my old denim jacket. patched, worn and beaten but fitting just right.
I will also include images when I can. While I am good with video and photographs, drawing isn't my strong suit so bear with me on those.
So here the tale begins of a planet. And those who are there, have been there and will be there.
Enjoy.
[Hopefully everyone will bear with my grammar, most notably the lack there of, and the spelling that slips through the spell checks]
